2025-07-08:
Right out of the box, the Prelude leans more relaxed in its vocal presentation—less forward than the typical IEM tuning. The overall tonality is neutral-ish with a delicate, clear character and a touch of midrange warmth.
Bass is on the lighter side in terms of quantity and weight, but it offers good texture and layering with a quicker decay. Treble is a bit more pronounced compared to darker-tuned IEMs, yet remains smooth and non-fatiguing, with nice clarity.
The packaging is thoughtfully done—simple, elegant, and well-organized. It feels a bit large to me, but likely still smaller than many other IEM boxes. The included ear tips are neatly arranged and easily accessible once the case is removed, with a solid variety to choose from.
The IEM case itself feels very sturdy, closing with a satisfying “thud” that gives off a sense of confidence. The cable looks great and feels premium for this price range.
As for the IEMs, they’re beautifully crafted. I’m usually not a fan of white shells, but these are so well-made that I really appreciate the design. The faceplate has a lovely textured pattern beneath the glossy finish.
I’ll give the Prelude a few days of burn-in before writing a more detailed impression — but so far, a fantastic debut.
